I am a Development Economist at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) in the Markets, Trade, and Institutions Division. I completed my PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of California, Berkeley and previously studied at Johns Hopkins' School of Advanced International Studies where I earned an M.A. in International Relations and at Wesleyan University where I did my undergraduate studies. I've spent a number of years living and working in different parts of Africa, including Peace Corps service in Niger and a year with the World Bank in Malawi.
